[PES PRESS ASSOCIATION.! Dunbdiw, May 11. At the meeting of the National Council of Women, the following resolutions on constitutional reform wore carriod:—That the Government be asked to bring in a Bill that will ensure a majority of representation;] that to mitigate the evils which arise from the present system of appointments to the Civil Service a board be appointed directly by the House of Representatives, such board to have: sole power to appoint all Civil servants; that a reform of the method of nominating and appointment of members of the Upper House is urgently needed, and that future appointments to the Legislative Council should bo in the liands of the people, and should lw! secured by a system of preferential voting, and the maximum number of i members shall not exceed 30. I
