JQewar as a cadet in the Post Office at Clinton, and of Buglar Euglis, of the Devonport Artillery Volunteers, the latter for refusing to oboy the command of his superior officer. Dr. Murdock McKeczie is gaz9tted Surgeon-Captain of the Now Zealand Volunteers,
The services of the Wakatu Mounted Rifles, NtUon, have been accepted. Captain Thomson has been transferred from the Napier Rifle Volunteers to the Wellington District Reserve Corps. The Government offices throughout the colony »ill bs closed on April 23rd, in celebration of St. Geoige's Day. j
