The Dvily Teleympk's special cordescribing tho brilliant generalship and hardships on Gonora) Roberts's march to Bloemfontein, says that beside it the march to Khanduhar was a mere circumstance. Lord Roberts's reception from the English, who were the only residents left, was most enthusiastic. The burghers had commandeered almost eveiy thing before leaving.
