It is probable that the whole of the Polynesian Islands will be proclaimed infected, as there is danger of the disease from some of the proclaimed islands reaching those which have nob oeen proclaimed, and thus teaching the colony. It is not intended to decbuy** Victoria asinfected territory at present, no case of plague yet having occurred among the population there. It is believed tho Government will, in addition to ships being moored a certain listanca from the wharves, insist upon 1 umigation. Tho question will be discussed in Cabinet to-morrow.
