ENGLAND'S COAL EXPORT.
PROPOSED TAX. [By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright ] [FIB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received 28,10 am.) London, March 27. Sir Michael Hicks-Beach, Chancellor of the Exchequer, has privately declared that the Government intended to tax coal for export half-a-crown per ton. Despite the coal famine prevailing the taxes would yield absut £5,000,000.
