FIRE IN PALMERSTON SOUTH.

[PBB Pit ESS ASSOCIATION.] DuvnKdin, February 28. A fire broke out iu the Arcade block, Palmersfcon, this afternoon, when the business places of Pearson (confectioner, where the fire originated), Lawson (photographer), Gwynne (stationer), Findlay (solicitor), and A. O. Bitchie (dressmaker) were burnt down. The insurances are not available. The loss is estimated at £SOOO to £6OOO.
