TERRIFIC SHELLING. (Received 2,10 a m.) Capetown, February 1, A thousand shells have been thrown into Kimberley during the last three days. A CHEERING MESSAGE. (Received 3,1.30 a.m.) London, February 2. The Major of Kimberley has sent a heliogram message that the citizens will endure any privations in the defence of their honor.
