SCHOOLS AT CRICKET.
MATCH AT HAWERA. Stratford Bowlers Scored a a Triumph. The annual inter-school match between the, Hawera Technical High School and the Stratford Technical High School was played yesterday at Hiawera and resulted in a comfortable win for the local team by an innings and eight runs. Although the match was a triumph for the Stratford bowlers off vTiom Hawera scored, only 37 and "27 fh their two innings, the Hawera bowlers. were also in good form and Stratford’s: total whs only 72. Ryburn, for Stratford was the outstanding bowler of the match taking in all 12 wickets for 17 runs. His record included five, wickets in one over but unfortunately did not get the “hat trick.*’ In seven balls lie took one wicket, missed one, took two more, missed one and then took two more.
Anderson also howled Well for .School, taking in the second innings live wickets for. 12 runs.
