TALENTED DANCER.
One Hundred Prizes in Highland Events. To celebrate the achievement of their daughter Dorothy in securing her hundredth prize in Highland dancing events Mr and Mrs W. H. Winmill entertained over 200 guests at the Masonic hail last week. The Stratford Pipe Band paraded for the occasion. In making a presentation to Miss Winmill, Mr T. Kirkwood said it was a wonderful record for a girl of 13. He, congratulated her on her success and expressed the hope that she would achieve still greater honours. Mr A. E. Marwick expressed the thanks of the L hour Party for assisfhnce given by M: - Winmill at their functions. Further congratulations Vere ext' nded by representative; of the New Plymouth and Hawera pipe bauds. Items were given by M'ss Joyce Mclntyre (New Plymouth 1 . Miss W. Marr (Kaponga), Mist' H. Wiumill Und Mr Joe Wade (Strut'ord). Among those who sent bouquets were:—-Mrs Donnelly (Te Kuiti). Miss Mclntyre (New Plymouth), Mrs Marr (Kaponga), Miss Ra les (Cardiff), and Miss Rowe (Str; ' lord).
