Melbourne, Feb. 20. A meeting of marine engineers" decided to impress on the Federal executive the desirability of a speedy settlement of the strike.

„. Sydney, Feb. 20. IJiere is no change in the marine engineers' strike, but it is P-enerally believed in union and shipping circles thai the strike is drawing to a close. The 'strikers are meeting early next week to decide whether to resume work.

A number of union officials are launching a movement to reorganise the union. They are in favour of arbitration instead of strikes.
