LODGE FOREST, No. 116,
(From "The Colonist," Nov. 22nd.) The insta'Sition/of Bro. V. N; Granville as W.M. ofthe Forest Lodge, No. 116, took place at the Masonic Hall, Wakeneld, last evening, in the presence of a large attendance of members and visiting brethren. R.W. Bro. R. W. Stiles, Provincial Grand Master, Nelson and Maryborough, acted as installing master, and Wor. Bro. J. L. Ching as. director of ceremonies. Other past masters who assisted at the installation were Wor. Bros. H. F. West (W.M. Southern Star), W. Bro. L. Reynolds (Victory), W. Nicholson (W.M. Lodge Motueka), R.W. Bro. W. Moves, Past Prov. G.M., Wor. Bros, J. Williams, T. D. Milne, E. Dimant, and J. A. Orsman. Bro. A. G. Thompson presided at the organ. The following officers were duly installed: —1.P.M., Wor. Bro. L. 0. Baigent; S.W., Bro. R. W. Noake; J.W., Bro. L. McGowan; secretary, Wor. Bro. H. Franklyn; treasurer, Wor. Bro. W. R. Pearless; chaplain, Wor. Bro. TV. Thorn; D. of C, Wor. Bro. TV. Cowin; S.D., Bro. W Max; J.D., Bro. H. Tunnicliff; 1.G.. Bro. J. A. Phelan; Tyler, Wor. Bro. TV. G. Syder; Stewards, Bros. Lyell Baigent, F. C. Page, and S. E. O'iHara. During the evening a past master's jewel was presented to TV. Bro. H. C. Fitzsnnmons in recognition of valuable services rendered to the lodge. After the ceremony the brethren sat down to supper, when the usual loyal and Masonic toasts were honoured. .
