Messrs Newman Bros.' cup for jump--3r ridden by lady rider: Mr. Hugh Berryman's Myro (rider, Miss Cowie). Mr. F. W. Fairey's cup for most point in Herefords: Mr. F. Fairey. Mr, F. W. Fairey's cup for best fat beast in the show : Mr. F. Fairey. Mr. Frank W. Hamilton's cup for highest aggregate of points in all sheep classes: Mr. W. R. Hunt, 23 points. Mr. H. T. Palmer's special prize for: highest aggregate of entries in horses.. cattle, sheep and pigs: Mr. F. Fairey, 22 entries. Mr. O. Green made an entry for the j milch cow competition, but the sample, could not be tested as butter had form- ; ed in transit. Another sample was test- i ed later, with the result of 441b weight! of milk; 4.0 test; 1.76 butter fat; 4.4; points for milk; 17.6 points for butter fat: total, 22 points. This placed Mr. Green's cow in the sixth position oi { eight entries. . i Jn awarding Mr. W. Wells's Prince J Darnley a champion ribbon, the judges* remarked that this was the finest I draught entire they had seen tor many a day. '
