A FAMILY MATTER.
In an application under the Family Protection Act, Mary Ann Scrimgeour applied, for an increased allowance from the estate of William Scrimgeour, deceased. Mr C. R. Fell appeared for Mrs Scrimgeour, Mr Hillier Cheek for the executors, Mr C. J. Hafley for the defendants except James Walker and family, and Mr E. B, Moore for the Walker family. An order was made for the payment of £3 per week out of the estate,* with leave to apply for variation in the event of change in circumstances and without prejudice to the power of the executors under the will to increase the allowance. . ,
