GOVERNMENT GUARANTEE,

Mr T. A. H. Field, M.P., has received the following telegram from the Prime Minister:— tTWith reference to the question recently under consideration of the Government of a guarantee of one penny per lb net on all fruit exported for 1920, I am glad to inform you that Cabinet has approved of the guarantee on the understanding that proper and sufficient care is taken m handling and disposing of the fruit, and that satisfactory arrangements are made."
