Archdeacon Kempthorne forwards the following abstract of meteorological observations at Brightwater for November: — Temperature in shade: Mean maximum, 65.50 deg, Fan.; mean minimum, 44 87 • approximate mean temperature for the month. 55.18: mean daily range, 20 63: extreme maximum (on Ist and J 3th) 74.00; extreme minimum (on sth), 34.00; extreme range for month (difference between the extreme maximum and the extreme minimum), 40.00. Cloud: Ivtean amount for month (U, clear sky; 10, overcast), 4.70. Rain: Total rainfall, 3.87 m; number of days on which rain fell, 12; maximum rainfall in any 24 hours (on the loth), .95in.
