In the House of Commons, Mr, Bonar Law declined to acquiesce in the request to institute a departmental Inquiry ; re-* garding Sinn Feiners and Germans. _ Mr Redmond suggested an inquiry! into the pre-war relations between Sili Edward Carson and the Kaiser, parties larly in regard to a luncheon party. Mr Bonar Law stated that all the talk regarding the subject was without foundation.

Mr, Devlin suggested there Was jusfi as much foundation for tne German plot in Ireland.

Mr Bonar Law said he regretted the contrary waß the case.
