SMITH—WIN.

September 30th. A very pretty wedding took place m September 25th at • Holy Trinity Church, Richmond. trie contracting parties being Mr W. Smith a returned soldier, son of Mr F. W. O. Smith, of Hope, j>nO Miss Eileen Win, youngest daughter of Mr E. W. Win, of Richmond. The ceremony was performed by the vicar {Rev. A. J. Can). The bride, who wa.s given away by her father, looked charming in a dress of white merv silk, trimmed with hand embroidery, with the orthodox wedding veil looped back from the fac«» with pearls and orange blossoms. She carried a. lovely bouquet of asparagus fern and white stock. The bridesmaids, Miss Joan Smith, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Dorothy Chandler, cousm of the bride, wore pale bine silk dresses trimmed with hand embroidery, and large blue hats to match. rJ.hey carried bouquets of fern and pink hyacinths. Two itiny flower girls, Miss Annie Kenyon and Miss Connie Hawkes, cousins of the bride, looked sweet in white voile frocks and mob caps with blue streamers. Mr R. Eden attended the bridegroom as best man, and Mr T. Wilfces as groomsman. Miss M. Thorn was at the organ, and the choir were in full attendance. Mrs E. W. Win wore a dress of navy blue crepe-de-chine. with large hat to match, and she carried a handsome bouquet of blue hyacinths. Mrs S. Wilkinson, sister of the bride, wore a prettily made dress of white s;lk, and large pink hat. A large number of guests were afterwards entertained at "Rustrevor," the residence of the bride's parents. The blide's travelling costume was of brown gabardine, with hat to match. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a handsome dressing case, and to the bridesmaids he «a»-e gold brooches. The presents were handsome and numerous, and included cheques from the fathers of tKe bride and brklegroom. The church was prettily decorated fey girl friends of the bride, r.nd the bouquets were made by Mrs Ralph Smith, sister-in-law of the bridegroom.
