STEWART—HUNT.

A quiet wedding was solemnised at the .Cathedral, Nelson, on September 4th, between Miss Maud Hunt, daughter of Mr and Mrs, Thomas Hunt, of V\ akefield, and Mr Joseph Stewart, late N.Z.F..A son of Mr and Mrs D. Stewart, of Is lie street. The ceremony was performed by the Yen. Archdeacon Kempthorne. The bride, w^ho was given away by her father, wore a dress of hand-embroidered crepe-de-chine, with a veil of Brussels lace, and her mother's orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of whito clematis and camellias. She was attended by her four sisters, who yore dresses of pale pink and champagne crepe-de-chine, with: black hats, and carried posies of violets. Mr Newton McConochie, who acted as best man, and Mr Harold Dee, as groomsman, both had seen active service. The Wedding March was played by Mr G. F. Naylor. After the ceremony a few friends were entertained by the parents at their residence, Grove street.
