USEFULNESS OF BOY SCOUTS.
The ninth annual report of the.''Boy Scouts Association" contains some-inter-esting- particulars of -recent-'.develop-ments oi'-.the,-movement (says a">v.rfter in the "Westminster Gazette). Kew associations -were formed last year in places so-far apart as St, Beleiia, the Cayman Islands, British Honduras, and jiihar and Oiissa (India), anct.the War Oifiuo, Admiralty, and Sretropolitiin Police have availed themselves of »the Scout's services to an i.Creasing extent. The lads are doing duty with the Auxiliary Fleet as signallers, cooks, etc., while the War Office has .approach--ed the Association with regard to »«e' employment of Scouts for ore!orK- purposes on a. larger scale than hitherto, in addition ■to interesting itself in classes for aeroplane construction.
