At the quarterly meeting of tiie Public Service Superannuation Board, 19 contributors retired by reason of age or length of service were granted annual allowances totalling £3449, and i' contributors retired as medically unfit were granted allowances totalling £201 per annum. ...

In consequence of retirements under section 35, accrued compensation to the amount of £8138 became a liability oi the superannuation fund and a corres ponding relief to the Consolidated Fund. The secretary reported that the total amount to the credit of the fund on January 31st last was £933.182, an increase of £112,025 on the preceding year.
