The Minister of Deience (theHHonk. k James Allen) urged the men to remember tho lejsons they had learned in tho ti'encheSj and to transplant them to their civilian life t now that they had relumed. By doing this they would greatly assist in solving t~he problem of tho welfare of the Empire. He v elcomed the formation of l eturned soldieis' organisations as voicing tho genuine opinions of returned men, ns against the views of a small minority manufactured grievances. «
