ROYAL HEALTH SOCIETY.
The committee of the Royal Health Society met yesterday afternoon, Mrs Buchanan presiding. After tho reading of .the minutes of last meeting, a vote of deep sympathy was passed with the family of the late Mrs Duncan, one of the-first and most earnest supporters of the society. ' A letter was also read from Mr Duncan, 'received about a foi'tnight ago, enclosing a.cheque for £25. with Mrs Dunoan's "'love and good wishes."
A letter was- receivovd from Nurse Wix, asking that her annual month's leave might begin tho first week in September.. It was decided that JNmrso Honeyfield should be written to, asking if she would be able to take .■'■•Nur.se Wix's place dui'ing that time. The monthly accounts, to tlie amount of £18 55,. were passed. CopicvS of the annual report were promised -for this meeting, ' but could riot be finished in time, and the final arrangements with regard to them were left in the hands of the i^cretary. ~ Specimens of sheets or^instructions for making humanised milk, Nos, 1 and 2, "wore received from Hawera, and it \vaV decided that 1000 copies of No. 2
