MONTHLY MEETING. (From ''The Colonist," April fi.) Tiie monthly meeting of the Nelson Hospital and Charitable Aid Board w«si held yesterday. Present; Messrs. H. Baigent W. N. Franklyn. T. Bell. G. Macnmhon, W. Lock, G. Li. Allan.. and Mrs. Walson. ELECTION OF CHAJR^JCS. . The cleric (Mr. S. lilomfielcl) took the chair, and called for nominations for the office of chairman. • i Mr. Frankiyn, in moving that Mr. I Baigent be re-elected chainitan. said jtitat he 'took a keen interest in the affairs of the Board', :tnd living in the city, was at all times approachable. Mr. Lock seconded the motion, and! agreed-that tlif chairman of the Board should bo a town member. The motion wns carried unanimously. Mr. Baigent, on taking the chair, thanked mombris for again oloctino him to the position. Sometimes he felt that he wa*; occupyina; the position too long.
