Our positions at Avocourt Wood and Mort Homme on tho Cumieres front were subjected to an intense bombardment. ! There was a calm on the right bank of the Meuse, except south of Haudromont Wood, where the artillery was fairly lively. Nine of our aeroplanes during the night of the 16th bombed Conflans Station, Rombach factories, Arnaville Station a-nd Pagny and Ars-Bur-Meurthe stations.
