Private A. "W. Westrupp (son of MrS. Westriipp, of Haven road), suffering from dysentery, a|ul- Private. E. I\. \Vastnoy (bor of Mr* A. Wastney, Collins \ alley, Wangamoa), suffering irom shell concussion, returned to Nelson early-yesterday morning. Although no official advic-f. had Ibeen received :that' they were coming, they were met by Mr W. W. Snodgraiss, of 'tho Empire Defence Committee. . Private Wastney was paralysed from tho hips downward', by shell shock, but ho is improving, very nnich,, and it is iPully expected that he will regain the use of his legs. Prior to proceeding to his home, he ift staying' at. Mrs Monigatti's hoarding.house in New street.
