MARSDEN RECREATION GROUND.

The annual meeting of householders of Stoke in connection with the Marsden Recreation Ground and Public Hall was held on Monday evening, when there was a poor attendance. Mr. A. P. Allport, chairman of the Board of Trustees, occupied the chair. The report and balance sheets were adopted as read. The balance sheets showed credit balances for the Ground, Hall, and Library accounts. The retiring management committee, viz., Messrs. J. Ching, J. Biggar, H. Ching, W. Kenning and A. V. Allport, were reelected. Mr. D. H. Wilmot was reelected lion, secretary, and Mr. M. Ching continues the duties of librarian and caretaker.
