TURKISH CRUISER SUNK

THE MEDJIDIEH MINED

Petrograd,. April 4

A semi-official report states that the Medjidieh, a Turkish cruiser, was mined and sunk off the Russian coast on Saturday.

The Medjidieh was launched in 1903. She was a vessel of 3300 tons, with a speed of 22 knots. Her armament consisted of two 6.lin and eight 4.7 in guns.
