Messrs. Burbidge and Son report as folW-s on tne Wellington fruit and produce market:—We report values for dessert pears and dessert apples about the same as last week, with slightly
better prices for cooking apples and 'pears. The demand for all.kinds of good fruit is excellent. Choice white i cauliflowers are realising very high prices, and good cabbages.are still selling readily at payable prices .to the grower. Potatoes are very dull wrth a falling tendency. Eggs, fresh and preserved, meet with a ready sale. Walnuts are still wanted.
