The Board of Trade is opening a relief fund for ■. the benefit of the stricken survivors of the Empress of Ireland. -

The Canadian-Pacific Railway Company has not yet decided whether io attempt to raise the Empress of Ireland, though it announces that it is determined to recover the rest of the bodies if it is at all practicable.

Memorial services have been planned throughout Canada for Sunday, the Salvation Army being prominent in connection with them.
