The weather early this morning was dull and cold. Shortly after sunrise there was every indication that bad weather was not far off, but fortunately rain held off until after" the ceremonial parade of the territorials and senior cadets. An hour later it started to blow from the south-west, and rain fell steadily, completely spoiling the holiday. Rain fell in torrents in the afternoon. The territorial and cadet parade was held in the morning. The total on parade.was, 67 officers and .•1681" of other ranks. A1 royal salute was fired by the B Battery.
