Mr. S. Kennedy, president of the New Zealand Locomotive Engine Drivers', l'lrenien's, ;iad Cleaners' Association, left by Monday night's' steamer en route for Auckland, where he is instructed to take charge of the interests of the driver of the Main Trunk express, which collided with the goods train near Mercer. Mr Kennedy will assist at the inquest, and will watch the interests of Driver J. H. Stone.
