McMAHON'S CIRCUS
The vacant section opposite "The Colonist" has been selected as the site for the circus, which opons its Nelson season this evening. The proprietors are bringing a large company ot efficient artists, including jugglers, < acrobats, wire-walkers, tumblers, aerial artists, clowns, and gymnasts, whoso sensational performances should greatly please their audiences. The company lias about forty head of educated horses, which go through interesting manoeuvres. Well-trained dogs and monkeys will also perform. There are also oreyhounds, who leap loft high and 30ft long over hurdles. Buckjumpino- will be a feature of tho entertainments. The management offer .one pound to any local rider riding Cooee the Outlaw for 30 seconds in an ordinary English hunting ga^le/
