SUBURBAN NORTH.
The monthly meeting of the Suburban North Road Board was held on Friday. Members present: Messrs. W. H. Albordugh (chairman), A. Dodson, and J. Corder. Absent, T. W. Anderson, "E. W. Frost, and J. E. Packer, who were excused. Accounts were passed for payment amounting to £22 12s 3d, „ The overseer's report was then read, statine that ho had had the concrete i culvert put in on thq Lud road, which cost £16 3s. Two 9-inch culverts had been put in opposite Brown's, but he could not get the 12-inch pipes for the other -culvert. Tho bridge, by Mrllosse's boundary, when being repaired, was foiind to bo in a bad state, and would soon require renewing- He had had the noxious weeds cut on the LM road and the road up Pitcher's si3e of the river. The contractor has started the work up Elizabeth creek, and tho work is going on satisfactorily:. * letter received front Messrs. Austin; requesting the Board to grant him an C 6to patch, the Caf>le road. It was resolved that- tho overseer visit t]tf> Cable road, and -see if any graveling is required, and report at next rieeting.
