Wellington, Jan. 19. Consequent on the promotion of Mr D. G. A. Cooper, Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wellington, to the Magistrates Bench, tho following, changes liaro been made by the Public Service Commissioner: —Mr W. A. Hawkins, Registrar of the Supreme Court of Christchurch, to be Registrar and .Sheriff of the Supreme Court of Wellington; Mr A. H. Holmes, Clerk of the Court at Wellington, to be Registrar of tho Supreme Court at Ohrist- ! church; Mr It. P. Ward, Clerk of the Court at Dunedin, to be Clerk of the Magistrate's Court at Wellington; Mr B. Harper, Clerk of the Court at Greymouth, to be Clerk of the Magistrate's Court at Dunedin. Mr W. Cave, Clerk of the Court at Nelson, succeeds Mr' Harper; Mr J. Fitzgerald, Clerk of the Court at Ashburton, succeeds Mr Cave; Mr G. G. Chisholm, Clerk of the Court at Port Chalmers, succeeds Mr Fitzgerald.
