Henry Ferae Hopgood called at the police .station at Bowen Hills and otu.U ed that his'wife had been trying to poison him, and that he had killed her in a timberyav-d. The police invesiigateJ, and found the body of Bridget Hopgood. There were two wounds on the forehead.
