LYMPH IN LIMITED SUPPLY
Inward passengers by the Pateena j'esterday were compelled to submit to vaccination before the vessel's departure from. Wellington on Monday.1 The officers and crew wore also vaccinated.
On inquiry yesterday it was ascertained that the supply of lymph in Nelson just now is very limited, and until a fresh supply is received, it will not Impossible for extensive- vaccination to
be carried out,
Owing to the demand for lymph'i^i infected areas it will probably be a few days before a supply can be forwarded to Nelson. So far it is only compulsory for porsons_ leavjng tho North Island to b© vaccinated or produce a certificate of
recent vaccination, but pt^rsons leaving for Wellington will bo required to submit to tire operation before being allow-ed-to return. Unless the ' restrictions
are modified members of the Nelson' hockey representative team and visitors to the Wellington races, who loft yes'-. torday, will have*to bo . vaccinate*.] be'for© they return on Sunday. .
