SEVERAL WELLINGTON CASES

Wellington, Juno 20. ♦Several instances of garrotting have been reported lately in Wellington, and in two cases at least men were robbed of money. A coloured man was hc4d up a night or two ago by, three mon, ono of whom cut a trousor'pocket out containing money,, tho.leg being injured in the .process. In another case n man was robbed in- daylight by m«n apparently belonging to the ,same gang.
