Auckland, June 20. ■ Replying to a prohibition deputation Mr. Bradiiey, M.P., said that he was opposed on democratic principles to tho bare majority, and would continue to oppo-so it at the risk of political extinction. Mr. Harris, M.P., sympathised with, tho deputation, but said it was making a mistako'in insisting on pledges from a. momber, as this was calculated to givo tho No-licenso question undu« prominence in politics.
