TERRITORIAL PARADE.
PRESENTATION OF LONG SERVICE MEDAL.

A parade of the 12th (Nelson) Regiment, and Nes. 51 and 52 companies of Senior Cadets was held _ yesterday morning. The troops fell in at the Drill Shed at 9 o'cicck, and marched in column to tho Boys' Central School ground via Hardy, Collingwood, and Nile streets, being met at tho Schooi of Music by the College cadets. The parade drew up facing the school, on the flagpole of which flew the Union Jack. The troops saluted the- flag, the 12th (Nelsoii) R-egt. Band playcd^'Cod Save, the King," and cheers were given for his Majesty George V. Tho Territorial Decoration, for 20 years' service as an officer, was then presented to Bishop Mule® by Lioin..Colonel Grace. In making the presentation the latter said the honour was the greatest distinction which tho Auxiliary Forces could confer in regard to long service. Reference was made to the benefit conferred on the service by his Lord-ship's moral support, which bad been so willingly and kindly given. "On behalf of hi« Majesty tho King and of those authorities w.ho preside over tho forces in this country," the modal was presented.
The troops then marched back to the Drill Shed, via Alton street, and wen. dismissed.
A total of 16 officers and 190 rcon were on parade. Licut.-Colonel Bryant was in charge of tho. parade in the earlier portion, but had to return to the country, when the command devolved upon Major Stiles.
