Correspondence was read from the Department in connection witli the new ro:;d in Redwood's Valley. One tender* only wp.k received for the forming an<s nir■•tailing, <::nd after discussion it was n-solr-ed to proceed with the work by day labour. The forming is to be done at once, and tho _in filing left till a more favourable time oV the year. On the report of tho cxorr-'.Ki- :-nmo scooping was authorised to be. done- in Eves' Valley. A reserve of tho Hoard's was ordered to bo cleared and ploughed. Accounts amounting to £22 17s 3d werepassed for payment.
