The "Financial News" says the campaign at Altrincham was liko that for tho Newmarket seat. It was fought upon tho Marconi agrooment as regards the middle class electors, and the National Insurance Act for the workers.
The "Daily News" admits that there is a falling away from the full flood of vigorous Liberalism displayed at Bolton. The country needs educating regarding the advantages of the National Insurance Act.
At the general oloction Mr J. R. Kebtv-Fleteher, Unionist, was returned by 8002 votos to 7583 votes cast for Sir W. Crossley, the Liberal candidate.
