WAKEFIELD.

The annual • harvest thanksgiving service took' place in St. John's Church last Sunday, when the church was tastefully decorated for tho occasion. The Rev. J. I omitted to mention in the report that a motion in favour of tho Bible in schools was carried unanimously. Owing to thr- wrt night only some 30 couples attended the dance held on Friday night under tho auspices of the. Rover Football Club. Mr. Percy Rickotts was M.C., ami Mr. Sangstor provided tho music.
