At tho Viterbo trial tho jury unanimously found nine of tho prisoners guilty of murder, and tho rest of criminal conspiracy. The accused Mere recalled to the iron cage. Dentarmeo, on hearing his condemnation for murder, drew a piece of glass and cut his throat, and collapsed in a pool of blood.

Tho spectators were horrified, and a panic ensued in the Court. Order was restored with difficulty.
