The Rugby football match between WanganurOollogo and Te Auto College caused intense- excitement. Wanganui won both senior and junior matches after brilliant games, each side having now won an equal number of matches in the juniors,, and Wanganui being one to the good in the seniors. In the junior match the score was, Wanganui 16, To Auto 3. The senior match was a very brilliant affair. Wanganui averaged list lllbs, and Te Auto' was about lOst lighter, in the scrum. Wanganui had. the advantage of the first spell, especially through suro handling and tackling. Faber scored early for Wanganui then Humphhds, Faber kicking a goal. McAndrew next scored for To Auto, Tatar© kicking a goal. Fntyar scored again, ard converted, the'spall finishing 13 to 5. In the second swell. To Ante attacked almost incessantly to the last few iniuntcs. Kawhiri and Haua got tries, bringing the score to 13—11, amidst great excitement. The game was intensely fast. With only four minutes to go Wanganui scored one more try, the game finishing 16 to 11, after some of thomost brilliant football.seen here.
