One of the most interesting political portents in an eventful period is a change in tho control of "The New Zealand Times." I i/.iderstand that this well known morning paper, so long identified with the Ministerial side of politics, is about to conic under tho direction of the United Labour Party, with Professor T. W. Mills a,s cue" of tho active controlling heads.
