Ho leaves by Wednesday's steamer. Primarily his plan is to make an inspection of tho railways in the south, and the two big railway workshops. He will make it his business to get into touch with tho customers oi: the department and will specially invest igate the question of suburban services so that he can from first hand knowledge, consider on their merits the applications made to him for improvements.
