THE AMATEUR DEFINITION,

Wellington, March 29. Tho executive of tho New Zealand Rowing AssoeiatioiiJias decided to forward the secretary's report in regard to the amateur definition to the various associations witjiin the next few days, and a special meeting of delegates will boJield in Wellington <m June Ist to consider tho matter. Tho meetiiig will 'also consider tho desirability of setting up, a special committee to inquire into tho style of rowing adopted in New Zealand, and to report as to whether it can be improved.
