Auckland, 'March 29. At the annunl meeting of the Auckland Ladies' Hockey Association the. chairman asked two males present (a reporter aiid the secretary to the Auckland Association) to retire. Secretary Norton questioned;- and declined to. leave unless tha chairman quoted the rue giving him authority. The chairman telephoned for the police, -whereupon Mr Norton left the room, followed by the delegates of h'vo other clubs.
