HAYWARD'S PICTURES.

To-day's matinee being the first in the year, Hayward'a Picttures will present the children attending this afternoon with a cake of chocolate. There aro four star dramas, "Tho Doomed Ship." ' "Backwoodsman's Suspicions," "The Way of tho Eskimo," and "Bess of the Forest." All of them aro powerfully and realistically staged and acted amid beautiful scenery. "Pathe Gazietto" with tho latest' events will be shown. The comics arc fun-makers, "The Two Little Boys next Door," and "Foolshead Roguery" being among them. Next Wednesday the great opera picture, "Esmeralda," Pathe Freres' latest coloured masterpiece, will be shown.
