Douglas showed brilliant form, batting for 267 minutes. The bowling and fielding were good. Australia opened poorly losing t wickets for 32. Trumper, Minnett, Kelleway and Crawford then batted splendidly. The bowling was good, and tho fielding moderate several easy chances being dropped.
